After four years in the planning Southwark Park Sports and Athletics Centre is finally on site. The £2.5 million scheme for Southwark Council involves the demolition of the existing building and the provision of a new purpose-built facility to serve the Athletics track and the sports users in the park.

The project is scheduled for 45 weeks and is designed to achieve a BREEAM very good rating.
