We have been tipped for two top titles at the Celebrating Construction Awards, which recognise the achievements of companies and individuals from across the Midlands.

VincentStokes has been shortlisted as the SME of the Year and our director, Rachel Vincent, is a finalist in the Achiever of the Year category.

Rachel said: “We’re really proud to be in the running for two tops awards and to be recognised by our peers for our successes and performance over the last 12 months. Since founding the business, I’ve strived to develop a culture that ensures we continuously improve, work as one team with our suppliers, and also help change some of the negative perceptions of the construction industry. As highlighted by these awards, these efforts have certainly paid off as we’re on target for our most successful year yet. Being shortlisted as Achiever of the Year is a real boost for me and I hope may encourage other young women to think about a possible career in construction. It’s an industry that can be very rewarding and provides many opportunities, as reflected in our award entry.”

The winners of the awards will be announced at a ceremony on 19th June 2015 in Nottingham, which is expected to be attended by hundreds of industry professionals.
