The £3m live refurbishment was completed at the end of February with the last phase of the gym, studios, circulation and reception areas handed over. Only 9 months ago we were asked to assist with the initial concept designs at the centre – working with the Council, Operations team and the constraints of the building, we ensured all the objectives were achieved within the designed budget & programme. Then in August we sprang into action – a phased approach, so there was minimum impact on customers – a challenge as we were refurbishing many customer facing areas of the building. A great example of a “one team approach” – I think you’ll agree the facility has been totally transformed with minimal hassle!
